Side versus down draft coolers:

Side-draft covers are for coolers that are attached to a building or fit into a window on one side of the unit.  They will also work for window-mounted AC units.

Down-draft covers are for coolers that are free-standing or mounted on top of a roof with air being blown through the bottom of the unit.  They are essentially large boxes enclosed on all sides but the bottom of the unit.
